The Westmoreland Arts and Heritage Festival at Twin Lakes Park, Greensburg, PA is one of my favorite events of the year. Three years ago, I was exhibiting there with my two sons when there was a thump and something lands at my older son’s feet: a baby owl. It had fallen out of a tree. Luckily, there was a birds of prey expert on site and he got the little guy back in his tree.
